Step 1 . . .Install a straight cable-male connector on the coax feedline. Acquire a right angle connector to mate with your straight connector (The same technique applies to TNC connectors too!). |
Step 2 . . .Put a small bead of E6000 cement around the female end of the adapter taking care to not to contaminate the inside of the connector. |
Step 3 . . .Mate the cable-male and adapter-female connectors. Smooth the filet of cement at the end of the cable-male. |
Step 4 . . .You can stop here. Let the cement set up 24 hours and the right angle adapter will be a permanent part of the coax cable termination. If you'd like to dress it up a bit, you can install a heat-shrink sleeve over the cable-male as shown in this photo. |
