Copper on the outside, aluminum on the inside . . .This wire is about the same stiffness as 22759 Tefzel in the same AWG size. When sheared off, the ends show the aluminum core . . . |
Aluminum wire in copper wire clothing . . .When stripped in preparation for termination, the exposed strands look for all the world like pure copper. |

Solder it up . . .This wire behaves as if it were solid copper. A soldering operation will alloy with the wire surface just as if it were of copper throughout. |
